First of all, I imagine this post isn’t for everyone. I’m sorry if you find this offensive, but it’s my point of view, so, please, respect it. I guess I might lose some followers as well, I asume it. Thank you.

No, this is true. Well I agree with it anyway.
Chosen Voice, why do you want to apologize? This is your blog. Whatever a person writes or creates is first for them self and then others if the person chooses to share. I’ve learned many things over the past few years since I’ve been on my spiritual journey to know my true being. Set yourself free and let go what others think, be genuine, true to yourself and give and love others unconditional. This is freedom and I continue to practice. I wish I’d known this when I was raising my 24 and 22 year old children. When we are little, I believe we are to learn about a higher being who I call God…learn to have faith and trust (belief) in this Being and at the same time learn to have faith and trust (belief) in ourselves (This is what the Creator wants for us). I’m having to learn to trust God and myself because there was much I missed as a child. Remember this…You were created In the image of this mighty powerful loving force. All of God’s attributes exist in you!
You may have a point that people don’t question their beliefs sometimes, either through laziness or fear they will be wrong. Still, I don’t think believing in God is mutually exclusive in believing in yourself. I believe in myself but I’m also realistic about my abilities. I believe in God because I’m convinced that God exists, just like I believe other things exist.
Did you do the letters freehand? It’s really well done.
In any case, this is definitely not offensive.
yes I did. it took an eternity and a half, but i did.
I suspect many people instinctively know this, but are not willing to admit it privately, much less acknowledge it publicly… You are courageous and I admire your honesty. You go girl!
No apologies needed! It’s your blog where you can post your own personal beliefs… I happen to agree with you on this one and just want to say WELL DONE!
Nice!
which is a twisted question, since most of Eastern religion/philosophy neither believes in a God nor in a self.
and parts of Western religion/philosophy developed the idea that via God we can think of individuality and a self at all…
last but not least, everything gets confused when one takes the whole bunch of different forms of life into account – with all their different connotations of God, self and belief…
Only if I had made this as a manifesto or something. but i didn’t. I took my opinion and i put it into a drawing. That’s pretty much it.
you’re absolutely right! just wanted to have a playful look with a kaleidoscope.
Hi, Im not a very religious person but I believe myself to be spiritual to an extent, often now-a-days it seems to me that people tend to use both the terms in the same breath, which is a tad irritating…but I stray from what I wanted to say :p To know god i guess is to know yourself, to love god by the same logic is to love yourself. But having said that, I’d want you to know that sometimes its alright not to be able to connect with yourself; I mean to love yourself to a great extent requires you to stray away from yourself for a while, and unknowingly you do come back to loving yourself again (something of a similar experience happened with me a while back so I can vouch for this philosophical hokum!) Beyond which, “live long and prosper” or was it “The Force be with you!”
The Force, please! And thank you
Well, I believe in God and a follower of God and Christ. I don’t share your view about it being easier in the least, but I love your drawing and you aren’t losing me. In fact you’ve gained me, I like honesty. We don’t all have to be one another. You’re you plus this is your blog, so it’s the expression of you. Hope you lose folks, but then again people are very sensitive. We can rarely have thoughts of out own. By the way, thanks for following my blog! I look forward to reading yours too.
))
I believe it’s the same thing.
Speaking your own truth is ..or should not be.. offensive, even if others do not agree. I do believe in something i call God for want of a better word. To me the only way to reach that is through believing in myself and seeing that One in myself and in all others. I do not think you are wrong. the responsibility lies with each of us, whether we believe in a God or not.
Same thing, different perspective… “It’s a very hard and humbling thing to truly and fairly know All of Yourself and it is impossible to totally trust All of God until you do”
Which is the long-winded way to say : As you learn your Soul’s True nature, so do you learn God’s for we are made in His image and not the other way around.”.
Peace.
this your your blog do what ever you want with it. I dont agree with your view but I liked the art. I guess its just how you perceive religion, everyone is different everyone goes through a journey to find THEIR own way.
Your art shows a lot of passion and a big heart . . . good for you.
Oh I like this!
Thanks for your appreciation on my drawing!
