Thanks for following thefirstgates. I’m returning the favor, and what sparked that decision was the coffee painting. I remember one winter, leaving some pieces of water color paper out with rusty objects on them, hoping to get some rust patterns. What was I thinking? The rain, of course, washed all traces away and by early spring, all I had was dirt. Glad to discover another use for coffee.
